A beautiful bright moon tonight, the last Supermoon of the year, the Full Sturgeon Supermoon. Called the Sturgeon moon because the giant sturgeon of the Great Lakes & Lake Champlain were most readily caught during this part of the summer. Coincidentally I live only a couple of hours from Lake Champlain.
