The full moon on Thursday night here in Singapore at 99.5% full was slightly larger and more vibrant than usual. It’s also the last supermoon of the year, according to NASA. Popularly known as Sturgeon Moon, it was clearly visible for the entire night since its rise from the south east direction. This picture was taken about 500 metres away from the block of flat in the foreground. However the moon was 360, 343 km away from Earth, it look as though you can touch it from your window ! This time the skies were so clear allowing us to enjoy the August's full moon.
