I spotted a female monarch depositing multiple eggs on a milkweed pod. On the right is a closeup of one of her eggs. This is a first for me, I thought they only left eggs on the underside of the leaves! What’s cool is her eggs are camouflaged because of similar-looking bumps on the seed pod. Smart mama!
