New location in the West Desert called The Knolls. It's between Salt Lake City, NV and Wendover, NV and is the absolute closest Bortle Class 1 dark sky. So I went for it, arrived kinda late at 10:30 pm and the location is dusty dirt roads leading to an OHV Recreation destination. Campers with off road toys. Luckily, most were at their campsites and no dust storms to deal with.

The meteors were everywhere all at once dozens per hour. Some just little blips like this one and several were spectacular! Two were 2-3 seconds long crossing the entire sky east to west. I got lucky with this shot. Slightly out of focus, my bad. More to come
