Male Familiar Bluet damselfly (Enallagma civile). The damselflies were everywhere around the pond and while the dragonflies were master hunters of the sky, the damselflies were the stealth-meisters darting amongst the low foliage snatching unwary prey. "Adult damselflies catch and eat flies, mosquitoes, and other small insects. Often they hover among grasses and low vegetation, picking prey off stems and leaves with their spiny legs. - -Wikipedia"
