Saying hello to an old friend...

Saturn photographed in the early hours of May 22nd, 2022, at the beginning of its upcoming season. After seeing Saturn at its new angle and after so many months, the fatigue of waking up so early in the morning was forgotten. It is a special feeling to finally see something that one has heard about, read about and known about since childhood. And although this may be my fourth planetary season, seeing Saturn will never, ever get old. Especially when every year, its changing angle gives us a new, seemingly far more beautiful view than the last.
