AutoStakkert (stacking), IMPPG (sharpening), Photoshop (levels, contrast, and false color), PhotoScape X (final tweaks).

Image Details:

Solar prominences are large, looping structures of hot ionized gases that erupt from the Sun's surface. These particular solar prominences that were visible yesterday on the SW limb of the Sun stretch to a height that is several times the diameter of the Earth!
