Baltimore Orioles are stunning birds, with a rich song made up of a series of whistles. They are returning to their breeding grounds from points south, where they winter, like Mexico, the Caribbean and South America. I was alerted to this fellow by his “chatter.” He then proceeded to dine on the grape jelly we left, in hopes of attracting an Oriole to our feeder.
