Post-processing Details:

For the star trails, all images were stacked and blended using the "Lighten" mode for layers. Minor adjustments were done using the Curves tool.

The longer foreground exposure was masked onto the star trails. Brightness and contrast were adjusted via the Curves Tool.

Image Details:

Ancient rock art on an isolated boulder under the spiraling night sky in southeastern Utah

Stone, sand, and stars
Spirals and circles all peering northward. Everything illuminated by darkness, not a photon from the sun or a street lamp.
Keep this land dark, keep the sky now as it was then.
