I looked out of the window into the garden and was curious to see what looked liked a piece of wood in the far corner in a direct eyeline from my viewing point. After realising with a high level of adrenalin that it was a juvenile sparrowhawk sitting comfortably on a branch basking in the sun - I rushed to get my new camera/lens and happily took video and photos for about 20mins. The highlight of my year so far!
