A few miles south of Fremont Junction, Utah into The Last Chance Desert. Very hazy throughout the day. About 1030PM the breeze blew out tgd haze fir a one hour window to shoot. One single exposure. The sandstone monolith is lit up with a flashlight for a few seconds during the exposure. Editing was removing some of the hot pixels, plus color & contrast adjustments. About 1145PM the haze came back. I got another window an hour later and captured a few more images when the Milky Way was directly overhead.
