A juveniles Asian Glossy Starling (Aplonis panayensis) seen here on the tree branch waiting for its feed from the adult birds. Unlike the adults, the juvenile birds have greyish-brown upperparts and dull buffish-white underparts with bold dark streaks. Their habitat includes forest, wooded areas, mangroves, parks and gardens. and they mainly feed on insects and fruits. They also form big flocks at roosting sites.
