This was taken on a Sunday morning here in the north west of Singapore. The sun was rising in the opposite direction in the north east when I was photographing this scene. The sky was blanketed in a thick paint of grey signaling an imminent rain. Surprisingly the sky turn cloudy and blue within 30 minutes after I had taken this picture and there was no rain. The street lamps are automatically turn off when it is daylight, but it the scene looks gloomy with the dark skies. The flats in the foreground stand out in this picture with a dark background behind almost resembling a painting.
