Shag Harbour Incident Society UFO Interpretive Centre

The Shag Harbour Incident Interpretive Centre, located in the fishing village of Shag Harbour along the South Shore 32 miles (51 km) southwest of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, Canada, chronicles the sighting of a UFO that crashed into the waters of Shag Harbour, leaving no trace other than yellow foam. Visitors to the museum can view television documentaries, newspaper articles, other memorabilia, and an exhibit on outer space, followed by a browse of the on-site gift shop. The UFO Gazebo and picnic site can be found about 3 minutes west on Highway #3 from the Centre, where visitors can look out on the ocean to the location the object crashed in 1967. Please note that while camping is not available, the center is open daily between 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. For more information, please visit online or call 902-723-0127.
