The CSU-Pueblo Observatory is a resource for the students and faculty of the University as well as the Pueblo community to gain a better understanding to the night sky. The observatory is open to the public on the third Tuesday evening of every month. Few universities and communities have an optical observatory with the capabilities of the one at Colorado State University-Pueblo. The facility is available for student projects such as the study of asteroid occultations, near-earth asteroids, exoplanets, super novae, eclipses and other student-conceived endeavors.
