Today (March 2, 2012), NASA released a video that they say is the best one yet for showing auroras from Earth orbit. The crew of the International Space Station (ISS) captured this video in late January 2012.
Isn’t it beautiful? Can you imagine what people a century ago could have thought, if they’d been able to see this video? We live in an amazing time.
