Image Details:

The planet continues to approach the Earth and it reduce its percentage of light, but the angular distance from the Sun decreases rapidly and its period of evening observability is almost over. Venus is therefore still observable immediately after sunset, westward, low on the horizon and close to the star Regulus (alpha of the constellation of Leo) and Mars.
