Comet 2023 E1 (Atlas) will be a maximum brightness in the next days as the Moon moves to waning and a window of dark sky appears. A telescopic comet of magnitude 9.5 at maximum it presents as a dusty green body that contrasts well in a field of stars of varying colors.
