Murahwa Mountain Slope Sunset.
Twice year, a few days after the Spring or before the Autumn equinox, the path of the setting Sun when viewed from my location almost coincides with the southern slope of Murahwa Mountain and if the weather is clear the Sun appears to roll down it. On this occasion Autumn weather only permitted the spectacle to be viewed a day early on 9th March when the Sun was close to but not quite ‘touching’ most of the slope.
