Image Details:

The closest and brightest Supermoon of 2021 seen here in Singapore on 26 May 2021. The moon was 100% full and 357,500 km away from Earth when I took this picture. Though it was a no show event of the eclipse due to cloudy skies, at least I get to see the Super Flower Moon in its greatest splendour. The moon details seen here using a point and shoot camera without any specialised equipment makes this photo very special to me. I would especially like to mention about the lunar impact crater, the Tycho Crater seen here in this picture at the bottom right which located in the southern lunar highlands, named after the Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe. It is estimated to be 108 million years old. The Supermoon of May 2021 was a feast for the eyes and soothing to our senses.
