Actually, my endeavors to be able to catch a glimpse and photograph the partial solar eclipse were not in vain after all...

Where my Note 8 and Canon Powershot S100 failed to capture the partial solar eclipse on time (it appeared so fast and was instantly gone) my Huawei P10 was busy filming this in time lapse mode.

After reviewing the playback, I took a screenshot of the much coveted photo and here it is.
