Phipps Park Campground is a conservation and campground area, about 104 miles (167 km) north of Miami, Florida. Please note that while there are no designated stargazing areas, the park is accessible by the public year-round and offers secluded walking trails, picnic areas, lake access, and more, with wide open night skies suited for stargazing; the campground’s motto asks “What experience can be more magical than sleeping outdoors and under the stars?” Camping is the park’s specialty and comes equipped with 24 RV sites, both primitive and developed, with water and a dump station, grills, fire pits, and even high-end canvas tents provided at no additional cost.
