Miracle Beach Provincial Park
October 8, 2017
Miracle Beach Provincial Park is a popular family campground in the Comox valley on Vancouver Island. It has a large day-use area and a lovely network of trails winding through lush forest. A broad sandy beach on the ocean is the main attraction, and it has a large picnic area overlooking the water. A member of the EarthSky community says: “The provincial park day-use areas are great for viewing the night sky, it is a wide beach so you can get out from under the trees and see so much. Very little light pollution, unlike the other beaches nearby. The parking lot closes at dusk, so you’ll have to walk in.”
