Brecon Beacons National Park, about 116 miles (187 km) southwest of Birmingham, West Midlands, England, is a scenic mountain area in Wales. It’s an accredited dark sky park, called “a secluded utopia for stargazing and appreciating the natural nighttime environment” by the International Dark Sky Association. The park claims to have some of the highest quality dark skies in the whole of the United Kingdom, making it the perfect destination for stargazers and hosts stargazing events each month.
