White Ridge Trailhead
June 14, 2016
White Ridge Trail System, northwest of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and west of Santa Fe, New Mexico, was developed with mountain biking in mind. The stargazing recommendation is for the trailhead. Open all year. While at the site at night, avoid areas where mountain bikers might run into you.
Traveling northwest toward Cuba on US 550 from Bernalillo, New Mexico, the drive is approximately 20 miles (32 km). Before San Ysidro (about 2 miles or 3.2 km), turn left onto Cabezon Road (County Road 906) at the intersection of Cabezon Road and US 550. Follow the left fork. Travel 4.4 miles (7 km) to the gravel parking lot.
