John Ashley caught February’s full moon rises Monday evening beyond the MMT Observatory – formerly called the Multiple Mirror Telescope Observatory – on top of Mount Hopkins in Arizona. Mount Wrightson (left) hovers in the background. The telescope is part of the Fred Lawrence Whipple Observatory, which is run jointly by the University of Arizona and the Smithsonian Institution. John wrote:
