Tim Otto Roth is a German artist who studied at the University of Tübingen and Art University Kassel in Germany and the Academy of Media Studies in Cologne. His work has appeared in Munich, Italy, the United States, Egypt, and other countries around the world. His collaborations include the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science, the Karlsruhe Insitute of Technology, the Brookhaven National Laboratory, and Fermilab. He also served as the first artist at the Paranal Observatory of the European Southern Observatories and has been awarded the International Media Art Award. He lives and works in Oppenau and Cologne.
