Betsy Weatherhead is Senior Research Scientist at the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Weatherhead is an atmospheric scientist specializing in climate change and its effects, and was a lead author on several major climate change assessments including the Arctic Climate Impact Assessment. She has worked on understanding trends in ozone, temperature, precipitation, solar radiation and aerosols.
