Wow! Watch sandstorm reshape dunes

SANDSTORM ALAMOGORDO from Harun Mehmedinovic on Vimeo.

Nested between the site of the first nuclear weapons test and the town of Alamogordo, New Mexico, White Sands National Monument has the world’s largest gypsum sand dune field.

On certain days, strong winds sweep through, moving and shifting the sands, creating sandstorms like the one in this video.
