This is a high-definition capture of the sun's surface using a hydrogen alpha filter as the moon moved away from totality. I inverted the surface to bring out the details and give it a three-dimensional effect. The shot was monochrome and I mapped 100% of the grayscale intensity to red and 40% to green to give it color.
