Equipment Details:

Nikon D3500 / SIGMA 150-600mm 1/125s f6.3 ISO 1600

Post-processing Details:

Slight color saturation to bring out the blues that were already present in the photo.

Image Details:

This photo was taken during the total solar eclipse in Ennis, TX, USA on Mon. Apr. 8th, at 1:14pm CST. This was “on the way to totality”. My camera was equipped with an ND 10,000 solar filter, and while capturing the partial eclipse I managed to also snag a lens refraction. The only post production edits done to this photo was some color enhancement to bring out the blues that were already present in the photo, and to add my copyright watermark. The skies hadn’t totally cleared yet and those clouds are visible in the upper portions on the image.
