Image Details:

While waiting for the Milky Way to rise in a few hours, The Pleiades and Orion were putting on a nice farewell display as they head South for the summer and the Milky Way Season is on in the northern hemisphere. I had to go a few days early as the weather was clouding up going into the new moon on Monday. So making the most it....farewell, mighty Hunter, Orion of the night skies!

The dirt, rocks and terrain are orange red causing the color cast of warmth. A, rare in the desert, big mud puddle helped add to the image. About an hour earlier I was treated to an astro first of zodiacal light show. I got a few pics of it with my cell phone on astro mode.
