With a Colorado low passing through the area I did not expect to capture Moonrise. I peaked outside around 4 am and saw a break in the clouds. Rushing to get ready I was out the door in minutes walking south about 15 minutes away from the lake. I arrived to a choppy lake and bright Moon just over the lake. 10 shots later the Moon was back in the clouds.
