The Waning Gibbous Moon rising in the Southeast at 12:09am, ( 80.1% ), it is that colour because it is low in the sky, close to the horizon, that is because we are seeing the Moon through much more of Earth's atmosphere than when we see it high in the sky, 30/03/2024, Dublin, Ireland.
