Image Details:

The meeting of two seas.....on the Moon. The Mare Serenitatis and the Tranquillitatis can be seen on the right of the Lunar Apennines, they have very different conformations and this gives them an opposite colour, from the red-brown of the Serenitatis Sea to the blue-purple of the Tranquillitatis Sea. The composition of the photo was made with the mineral Moon technique to highlight the conformation of the lunar soil. Photo processed with Autostakkert, Registax and Photoshop, obtained from a 30 sec film taken with Celestron C8, 2x barlow and Asi 224 Mc camera
