Image Details:

I put an owl nest box up several years ago, and aimed a trail camera at it. I've caught a lot of other animals visiting the box, from bears, to squirrels, to other species of birds. This year, a pair of northern saw-whet owls have moved in! I was changing the batteries in the trail camera, when I glanced up and saw this little one peering at me.
