Canon 7D Mark II with Canon 100-400mm Zoom plus 1.4 extender under a Daystar Solar Filter. Total zoom of 560mm. With a Canon crop factor of 1.6, total zoom was 896mm.
Basic Lightroom cropping, exposure and contrast with Topaz Denoise and Sharpening
It was a nice sunny afternoon and I wanted to practice shooting the sun with my new solar filter in preparation for the April 8 Solar Eclipse. I took a number of exposures at different apertures, shutter speeds and iso. I also used various zoom settings.
