Image Details:

The photo shows a prominent Pileus cloud on a Cumulus congestus formation. It is created as air quickly rises inside a Cumulus cloud and condenses at its top, yielding a smooth umbrella shape. It lasted for some 5 minutes and then it suddenly collapsed, being swallowed by the mother cloud.
