During low tide in the bay this Great Blue Heron caught a fish.
The Great Blue Heron's diet is highly variable and adaptable. They eat mostly fish, but also frogs, salamanders, turtles, snakes, insects, rodents, birds, voles and gophers in fields, rails and many species of small waterbirds.
