Carolina Chickadee, a different species from the Black-capped breed south of the Raritan River here in New Jersey. (We are lucky to have both species in the Garden State.) They do hybridize on the border of their ranges.
This little one posed on a branch in the rain as it patiently awaited its turn at the feeder.
