It's amazing to observe a Bald Eagle couple building a new nest together, or adding to an existing one. This female eagle, almost eight years old, is the mate of a 28 year old male. This will be their 3rd nesting season together and they have started building a new nest. It takes 1-3 months to build a nest, and it seems they have a little ways to go. Hopefully they have a successful year!
