Photographing wildlife can sometimes be a little graphic, but the nature aspect of it makes it beautiful. As much as eagles enjoy fresh fish, when the rivers & lakes start to freeze over, to survive they will feed on mammals, birds, & carrion a little more often than at other times of the year. I spotted this immature bald eagle feeding, on the partially frozen Hudson River.
