As I was looking out my back door to check on the birds at the feeders and trees in my yard, they all of a sudden all flew away. I saw a large bird land on a tree above the feeders & ran to get my camera. I barely made it back in time to capture a juvenile Sharp-shinned hawk, just as it flew down and away. Unfortunately for the many Cardinals and others birds that hang out, small birds are the main diet of the "sharpy".
