Even though the shot was taken from quite a distance, and not good quality, I was thrilled to discover that I captured a very rare for our area, immature Golden Eagle. I noticed the common ravens mobbing what I thought was a juvenile Bald eagle & captured it flying into the tree (I got a shot of the white tail of the immature fanned out in another shot). I read that the common raven is the arch enemy of the golden eagle, and that they can spot one coming 2 miles away! I did have it confirmed that it is a Golden Eagle.
