A little before sunrise on January 8, 2024, Mercury (brightest object to the bottom left) and Venus (brightest object to the left of the Moon) were joined by the crescent Moon with Earth shine as seen from the turf farm along Bristow Rd, just south of Bristow, Virginia. The bright star just below the Moon is Antares and the one just above is Alniyat.
