Image Details:

The day was cold & gray, and with an upcoming snow storm forecasted for the evening, I decided to check on the sleepy Eastern Screech Owl that I photographed a few weeks earlier. He (she) didn't disappoint, sitting in full view, and peeking out from it's left eye. It's hard to believe that they are only 6 to 10 inches in length (with a wingspan of 19 to 24 inches).
