Image Details:

Beach hazard and surf hazard warnings had me curious to see what the ocean was about. I took hundreds of photos, but this one seemed to capture it best: a pillar of spray from a wave colliding with rock, the choppy crest of a wave being carved from the top by opposing winds, and a soupy churn topped with foam.
