If there was any doubt that the skies of Tenerife are wonderful, here is a timelapse of the Geminid meteor shower 2023. Despite it happening in mid-December, the sky is usually completely clear and it is not particularly cold. This year we also had neither wind nor moon, which allowed us to see dozens of Geminids and thousands of stars.
