This time of the year is great to view the Bald Eagles, with the trees all bare. This tree, just below the Cohoes Falls & overlooking the Mohawk River, is their favorite winter fishing spot. When the river water begins to freeze the eagles can fish in the flowing water below the falls. Soon (December & January) there will be numerous eagles of all ages hanging out in the area. I can't wait!
