Over the moon to have captured this gorgeous Bald Eagle on Saturday afternoon!

These patriotic birds are usually pretty difficult to capture as they spook easily and they fly at speeds up to 30MPH. Thirty must be their lucky number because they also live 30+ years in the wild.

My favorite behaviors of baldies are their elaborate courtship rituals that include sky dancing displays and the famous "death spiral." They put on quite the show to win over their mates, as they should since they mate for life! 🦅🇺🇸
